105.5 The Bridge and 98 Rocks host radio-thon for CBB!
Give Back this Thanksgiving – Donate to the Charleston Basket Brigade
Calling all Bridge listeners – we need your help!
The Bridge at 105.5 is teaming with Charleston Basket Brigade to raise the last $20,000 needed to feed 20,000 Lowcountry residents in need this Thanksgiving.

Whether it’s $5 or $500, we ask that you donate what you can to help put a warm meal on the table of your fellow Lowcountry neighbors! Just $30 feeds a family of 6-8 people this Thanksgiving and 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes toward the purchase of food.
It’s so easy to donate and you can rest-assured knowing your contribution is going back to the community you call home. The Charleston Basket Brigade is also accepting volunteers for this year’s event.
Also, please join us on Friday, November 22 as we’ll be broadcasting live from Wild Wing Cafe on Coleman Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant from 10am – 7pm, accepting donations all day long! Nikki will be broadcasting live from 10am – 3pm, and The “Critic” will broadcast live from 3pm – 7pm.
The Charleston Basket Brigade is focused on providing local families in need with a true Thanksgiving experience, and provides all of the ingredients to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal. The CBB has raised $238,000 and fed more than 47,000 residents since 2009.
On Tuesday, November 26 (the Tuesday before Thanksgiving), hundreds of volunteers will meet at the Charleston Area Convention Center to assemble and then personally deliver meals to the families.
Each family receives a basket of ingredients to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal, including a 10-12 lb. turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, corn, green beans, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, cranberry sauce, fresh rolls, butter and a pumpkin pie.
The CBB is the largest Thanksgiving effort in the Charleston Tri-County area. Thousands of partners, sponsors, local businesses, churches, schools and individuals donate and volunteer each and every year to make the Charleston Basket Brigade happen.
