Head on over to The Coastal Cupboard in Mt. Pleasant’s Belle Hall Shopping Center today, November 1st through Sunday, November 2nd for the store’s Semi-Annual Charity Knife Sharpening Event benefiting the Charleston Basket Brigade!

For just $1 per knife, you can get your knives professionally sharpened where every dollar benefits the brigade.

“We love the Basket Brigade’s mission and are thrilled to support them again this year at the Knife Sharpening Event,” said Pitner. “It is a perfect time to get your knives sharpened with the holiday season right around the corner; and you’re simultaneously giving people in our community the gift of a Thanksgiving meal.”

During the three day event guests may enjoy free gourmet food tastings, knife demonstrations and enter a charity raffle to win cutlery sets, cooking classes at The Coastal Cupboard and more. Doc Crombie from Doc Crombie’s BBQ will also be serving up his famous barbecue sauces and new line of steak and hot sauces. The store will also host two book signings on Saturday, November 2nd with cookbook authors Gena Knox and Carey Morey.
