Charleston Basket Brigade Featured in Mount Pleasant Magazine

screen-shot-2014-11-04-at-2-58-37-pmThe Charleston Basket Brigade’s motto is “When a community comes together, magic happens” and this not only applies to those who donate or volunteer their time, but also to the local businesses and publications who rally around to support such an amazing cause.

Not only did this weekend’s Charity Knife Sharpening Event at The Coastal Cupboard raise an astounding  $4,002 which is the largest turn out to date, but Mount Pleasant Magazine recently featured the Charleston Basket Brigade in their November/December issue.

Head to page 63 in the magazine, or check out the digital version here.

Co-Founders of the Basket Brigade, Michelle Scarafile and Pam Hartley believe in the magic of delivering all the ingredients for a full Thanksgiving meal.  Pam says “We want to provide an opportunity for families to cook a meal together, to sit around their table and be grateful on Thanksgiving Day.”

Join us this year to reach our goal of feeding 3,300 local families.

It only takes $30 to feed a family of 6-8 and there is more need than ever.

We’re still a ways from our goal (in both donations as well as volunteers) and it’s easy to get involved.
