Join us for a day of giving and outdoor fun at Daniel Island Park Day TODAY November 9th from 11 am – 4 pm at Governors Park on Daniel Island.

park_day_poster2013Admission to the event is free, and you can purchase tickets to partake in a plethora of activities during the festival. Every ticket you give to an activity will benefit a local charity here in Charleston. It is a day of fun and giving all wrapped up in one!

The Charleston Basket Brigade will be paired with the Sports Challenge Activity and we will also be accepting donations and will have a volunteer signup sheet at our table. So grab the kids and come on down and support the Charleston Basket Brigade as we are on a mission to raise $100,000 to feed over 3,000 local families in need this Thanksgiving!

Other activities include a zip line, mechanical bull, animal exhibits, a petting zoo, live bands, inflatables, face painting, a climbing wall, food trucks, and so much more.

We hope to see you there!

We are on a mission to raise $100,000 to feed over 3,000 Charleston Tri-County families for Thanksgiving this year. There is only 18 more days until the brigade and we need your help!

It only takes $30 to feed and entire family and every single penny you donate will go towards purchasing that family everything they need to cook the perfect Thanksgiving meal.

Then on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, November 26 we need volunteers to come out to the Charleston Area Convention Center Exhibit Hall A at 7:00 am to help us assemble meals and then hand deliver the meals to the families shortly after.

When a community comes together to make a difference, magic happens. Help us make magic and feed our neighbors in need!
